City of Bee Cave – We assist the Village of Bee Cave in enforcing the 2003 International Building Code, 2003 International Fire Code, and referenced standards. Please see the City of Bee Cave Codes & Regulations web page for more information.
Unincorporated areas in our service district – Ordinance No. 2005-1 of Travis County Emergency Services District No. 6 adopts the 2003 International Fire Code and certain sections of the 2003 International Building Code for the unincorporated area of our service district. Please contact the LTFR Prevention Office for more information on these codes and their referenced standards. Construction of new buildings (except of 1 & 2 family housing units) and re-modeling of exisiting buildings require a permit from our Fire Prevention Office. Development of new residential subdivisions and commercial site development also requires a permit from the Fire Prevention Office.
