*Unincorporated Areas of Our Service DistrictORDINANCE No. 2010-01 of Travis County Emergency Services District No. 6 adopts the 2009 International Fire Code & referenced standards, certain sections of the 2009 International Building Code & referenced standards, and the FIRE PROTECTION CRITERIA MANUAL for the unincorporated area of our service district.

*NEW TOWNHOMES now require Residential Fire Sprinklers.

Please contact the LTFR Prevention Office for more information on these codes and their referenced standards.

Construction of new buildings (except of 1 & 2 family housing units) and re-modeling of exisiting buildings require a permit from our Fire Prevention Division Office.

Development of new residential subdivisions and commercial site development also requires a permit from the Fire Prevention Division Office.
