The LTFR Prevention Division performs a wide variety of fire and life safety inspections, including:

-Maintenance Inspections
- Certificate of Occupancy Inspections
- Daycare / Foster Home Inspections
- Fire Works Stand Inspections
- Hazardous Materials Inspections
- Fire Sprinkler Hydrostatic and Visual Inspections
- Fire Alarm Inspections
- Underground Fire Line Inspections
- Hydrant Flow Tests

To schedule an inspection please contact us at (512) 266-2533. A Request for Services Application is required to be completed (except for Maintenance Inspections) prior to inspection scheduling.
For a hydrant flow test please also fill out and submit a Request for Hydrant Flow Testing form.
Please note that we also charge a fee for most inspections. Refer to our Fee Schedule to determine the appropriate fee. Make all checks payable to “Travis County ESD #6”.
